Junior Boks
Three PRG old boys recently participated in the inaugural u.20 Rugby Championship tournament in Australia. Mbasa Maqubela (matric 2021), Reno Hirst (matric 2022), and Jurenzo Julius (matric 2022). Jurenzo has also been awarded the vice captaincy in the team.
Sport vs SACS
The PRG first XV team continued their unbeaten run when they defeated SACS 28-10 on Saturday.

Soccer at Absa 2024 Wildeklawer
PRG enjoyed a terrific visit to Kimberley recently. Our top rugby and soccer teams participated in this year’s spectacle.
The soccer results for the week were as follows:

linA large number oif teachers attended the Masithethe! IsiXhosa Oratory Teachers conference:
They include R. Geustyn (Bloemhof Girls’ High), Y. Edries (ENS), A. Maphaka (Curro Century City), K. Mangxa (Apex Stellenbosch), N. Godongwana (Apex Stellenbosch), C. Canaris (Paul Roos Gimnasium), R.Sethathi (Apex High), and Md M. Manjiya-Mboma (Springfield Convent). Discussions covered rubrics, rules, and logistics for the main event on August 24th, with a new trainer and judges guide forthcoming. Student entries are now open for those eager to showcase their oratory skills. Stay tuned for updates on this year’s electrifying showcase of oratory excellence.
Stellenbosch Eisteddfod
Three PRG pupils recently took part in the Public Speaking Category at the Stellenbosch Eisteddfod and achieved the following results:
