Local heroes test skills with coffee
The Coffee MM Academy Barista Battle is back and this time it is shining a light on the local heroes of the coffee scene – the baristas at your beloved coffee shops all over Stellenbosch. With ten competitors and three esteemed judges, Barista Battle Season Two: Local Love is back with a buzz to keep the coffee scene on its toes.
“We are hosting our second Barista Battle on 20 July where we strive to bring the local coffee community together.
“We at Coffee MM are committed to building the coffee community in Stellenbosch with a holistic understanding of the coffee industry and a deep-rooted love for the grind. With three categories ranging from a social media-voted Best Latte Art to battling on the day for the Coffee Connoisseur and Overall Barista Battle Champion titles, Season Two promises the ultimate caffeine showdown in town,” says Danielle Gerber of the organising committee.
Coffee lovers can get together for a day of coffee, community and local love. This event celebrates the artistry that goes into each coffee cup.
